Then there was all that stuff with Hurley in the psych ward. I think we’re seeing the purgatory theme revived.

Incidentally, there’s been some chatter about the identity of the shadowy figure in the Hercules (behind Decker, eighth screencap from the top). I think it’s supposed to be just another plane crewmember, but if so, why is Jack discussing their top-secret conspiracy with him within hearing distance?
